Optimism with Capital O

The reality TV auditions are the best way to witness the American Dream at its very best. Every season I would watch these auditions with awe as more and more freaks crawled out of their hiding places to pursue their dreams. If the world is a magical place all their collective optimism could probably find a cure for Cancer!

Optimism’s hard to come by, but I’m also an avid American Idol watcher, and you’re right about the optimism bit; perhaps we could find a cure for cancer or any other demobilising disease.
